Heartsaver CPR in Schools For Teachers, Middle to High school students that wish to obtain CPR and AED course credentials from AHA.
The Heartsaver CPR in Schools Course is designed to teach both adult and infant/child CPR to middle- and high-school students. The course presents information about the AHA adult and pediatric Chains of Survival, signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke, and choking in adults. The course also addresses signs of choking in infants and children, prevention of the most common causes of fatal pediatric injuries, and reduction of sudden infant death syndrome.
The course has been organized into 40-minute blocks that can easily be integrated into a typical middle- or high-school class schedule, allowing them to be taught over several days in a classroom
